I’ve been a customer for years at Kmart the Pines, Elanora. It’s always been acceptable and affordable until today. I was served by a woman who had been working there for many years and has seen me numerous times while she was stocking shelves. Her customer service was horrible. Service with a scowl. Sighing, attitude, banging my things down on the counter, impatient with me because as a senior I was slow. I felt put down and unwelcome. I decided then and there not to buy the goods. Thinking back, many of the staff there are unfriendly and look at you as if you are dirt under their feet. I must point out that there are some lovely staff members too. I am now going to boycott Kmart and take my business elsewhere. Those unfriendly staff, think yourselves lucky you have a job. Remember customers pay your wages.

I was in the shoe department today, up from Melbourne for a quick visit. I asked Lulu in the shoe department where the leggings were. she did not even bother to acknowledge me or look in my direction. She started to walk away from me so I said excuse me again. She pointed and said over there in women's. I said " oh I didn't think you heard me me and she tutted at me. " Absolutely abhorrent customer service. For a woman of her age, she should know better.

Has gone downhill over the years. Takes me up to 10 minutes to find a book sometimes because both the children's and adults book sections are messy and scattered all over the place compared to Big W and Target stores which are always tidy and arranged. Clothes are alright. Toy section is a disaster. Basically messy and unorganized compared to the likes of Big W and Target but the staff are pretty nice which makes shopping somewhat more pleasant.

The rude attitude of the person I spoke to at returns desk and her manager was disgusting. Absolutely no customer service towards myself or my grandaughter. I went to return hat too big but tags had been removed. I had receipt but apparently need tags, I said I would get tags as this hat was purchased yesterday, but no good. Fair enough, but people who work in customer service should explain politely and not upset customers. Disgraceful, but then again it is kmart and other reviews are similar.

Bought a toaster earlier in the year haven’t been able to use it as it trips the power. Be careful when buying cheap appliances . The store and staff though are great

I normally would give Kmart a 5 out of 5, but I have been trying to call the store for over half an hour but nobody answers the extension even if it isn't the one you want. I thought the store was open 7pm! I am querying a charge on my credit, but looks like I will have to call back tomorrow!!!

DO NOT EVER ORDER ONLINE. Apparently, they can't source some of the items I ordered even though . So you still have to pay for them, and they offer zero compensation for not keeping to their delivery time promise. Their complaints line is useless too. Dont even bother trying. They can't even give me an estimated time for the delay. So who knows when my stuff will turn up.

I came into kmart and was served very helpfully by one of the staff (I think her name was yevah or something like that). I brought a lovely rug and she was quite helpful in assisting me in my search. Thank you!
